Tips for picky eaters
Meal planning is so easy to customize for your family with this week’s recipes. Here are some tips to make these meals work for even the fussiest of eaters:
- Steal in vegetables. Stir spinach or carrots into lasagna sauce or cheeseburger soup without anyone noticing the extra nutrients.
- Adjustable fillings. Let everyone create their own taco pizza or Hawaiian haystack. kids love to control their plates.
- Tone Down Spice: Use less sauce for the Korean ground beef or replace it with a light teryaki glaze if your kids don’t like spicy flavors.
- Swap the ingredients. Not a fan of pineapple in Hawaiian haystacks?Use diced apples or grapes instead of the sweet crunch.
- Make it fun. Cut taco pizza into fun shapes, add colorful toppings, or serve cheeseburger soup with crackers.
- Go simple. Use plain pasta in lasagna or omit the onion in soup for kids who prefer simpler flavors.
- Add them to favorites. Sprinkle extra cheese on almost anything. it’s an easy way to beat them.
A kid-friendly dessert to try.
