This easy Cusal salad recipe is one of our favorite recipes of all time. You will love the simple lemon sauce, fragile vegetables and fresh herbs. It’s very fast prepared, and everyone I have served it absolutely I love it.

Over the years, I have prepared this tattered salt of this Herbie lemon in countless times, and it never disappoints. It has become a staple summer side dish for potlucks and barbecues. Every time I bring it, friends are looking forward to the recipe. I am always happy to share, because frankly, it remains one of my absolute favorite salads.

The main components
- Couscous: We use Margarit Kusk (sometimes called Israeli Kusk). Looks like small pearls and pastes like chefs (about 10 minutes in boiled salted water). You can replace regular Cusak or Exchange in the form of your preferred grain or small pasta (think quinoaFARRO or ORZO). I also use Margarit Kusk for that Argula saladA number
- Cucumbers and tomatoes. I love cucumber color and fresh aroma in this easy salad, but you can add any of your favorite vegetables.
- Fresh herbs. This salad really benefits from fresh grass. I throw them among many and particularly I love fresh parsley, dill and mint.
- Walnuts. Walnuts add a few crunches and manifies to salad. Walnut works well in this salad but feel free to replace with your favorite nuts.
- Raisins. I like to add something sweet for this salad so gold raider does the trick. I also used dried cranberries and dried apricots with great results.
- Homemade wear. I use the same sauce for this salad as other inspired taste recipes (so pea salad) You will combine lemon juice, Dijon mustard, honey or maple syrup and olive oil. It’s light and fresh.

We love this easy Kusan salad. Enjoy as a side or main dish that is on top of your preferred protein like shrimp, chicken, tofu or fish.

You will need
1 ½ Cups Dried Israeli Kustic, called Margarit Kusquus
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon honey
1 teaspoon delicate grated lemon delicious
2 to 4 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice, depending on the taste
1 middle English cucumbers, minced
1 large tomato, minced
1/2 cup coarsely chopped fresh herbs; Use fresh parsley, cilantro, basil, dill or any combination of mint
1/4 cup chopped walnuts, fried
1/4 cup raisins, we love gold raisins
Directions:
1Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Add couscous and cook until tender for 8-10 minutes. Dip

- Make-before. Cover it and freeze up to 4 hours. If you plan to make one or two days before time, the tomatoes and nuts are separated until you are ready to serve.
- Vegan salad. Use Maple syrup instead of honey.
