My creamy chicken salad recipe combines tender chicken, celery, nuts, dried fruits and plain creams. It’s great now to enjoy, but over time it improves, making it a great option for cooking food.

The main components
- Chicken. Use one of our easy recipes for remaining chicken, rotis chicken or chicken recipes as Easily poached chicken (lasts 25 minutes), The whole chicken cooked (Preparing chicken of broth and super competition for about 1 hour), and All fried chickenA number
- Celery and herbs. They add crunches, color and freshness. I crush my celery quite small. For herbs use what you have. I love parsley, bullet, dill, tarragon and mint.
- Nuts and raisins. I love sliced almonds and gold raisins, but you can always replace them with your favorite nuts and fruit. Walnut is excellent as well as fresh fruit such as ground apples or half-grapes.
- Milk sauce. Dressing for this salad could not be much easier. Combine mayonnaise with fresh lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt and pepper. Then add a piece of fried sesame oil with a little more taste (we also use sesame oil in our clothes broccoli snuggle) You can exchange mayonnaise for simple Greek yogurt for Major Free Salad. You will need
For the salad
3 cups (480 g) chopped or fried cooked chicken
1 cup (120 g) chopped celery
4 tablespoons chopped fresh herbs such as Chives, parsley, mint or basil
1/4 cup (40 g) lightly fried walnuts, such as sliced almonds, nuts, peckers or pine nuts
1/4 cup (40 g) dried fruits such as gold raisins, cranberry, date or blueberry
To dress up
1/2 cup (110 g) mayonnaise, see Homemade mayo
2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon of fine sea salt, plus more to taste
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
2 to 4 small dashes toasted sesame oil (Smant 1/4 teaspoon) optional
1 to 2 teaspoons of jam, optional
Directions:
1Combine chicken, celery, herbs, nuts and dried fruit in a medium mixer bowl.
2Mix mayonnaise, lemon juice, mustard, salt and black pepper into a small bowl. Taste, then add optional components. Tostal sesame oil adds umami (a little long way goes), and jam sweetens dressing clothes.

- Storage: When it is stored in an airtight container, the chicken salad stays in the refrigerator 3 to 4 days, which is wonderful news, because I mentioned above, but one day it tastes better.
- In addition to or as a substitute for dried fruits, add a handful of fresh fruit such as half-grape or chopped apples.
- For a lighter chicken salad, exchange mayonnaise light mayo or use simple or Greek yogurt.
