The main components
- Almonds. I always start crude, not fulfilled all of the almonds and fry them in the oven until they are perfect. Before frying almonds, they bring their delicious aroma before mixing butter and release their natural oils, which leads to cream tissue.
- Salt. Just a pinch of salt makes all the difference with a taste. You can configure the money at your request.
- Cinnamon and vanilla. These are optional additions, but add a hotter, sweet taste that is beautiful to fill almonds.
- Sweetener I like adding honey or maple syrup for balance of spices. I don’t add a lot but you can adjust it to your taste.
How to make almond butter
Almond passes several stages before turning the almond butter (shown in the photos below). It’s going fast.
Start with raw almonds to make almond butter. I’m making them back to the oven fragrant, which takes about 10 minutes. The almonds after you cool for a few minutes so that they are heated by warm, we throw them into our food processor (you can also use high speed blender).

After 20 seconds, almonds turn into almond flour. It’s very good and like heavy powder. It is difficult to imagine that it will eventually turn into a silky smooth almond butter, but trust me.

Give almonds longer in a food processor so heavy dust starts gathering on you. Don’t worry. If it doesn’t move too much into the food processor, turn it up, open the cover, scratch the sides and break any big clump. It is possible that you have to do it several times.

After a minute or two blend we have a creamy almond butter. Now it’s time to add spices to salt, cinnamon or vanilla extract. If you need it, you can add a sweetener to honey or maple syrup. I love a small maple syrup.
