This easy recipe for egg salad is the best I’ve made. It is very simple, just mayonnaise, celery, fresh herbs and lemon juice. It is perfect for sandwiches, wrappers or fast snacks.

I grew up on egg salad sandwiches (with some Tuna salad Sandwiches were thrown). This recipe is inspired by my mom who really performs the best egg salad.

The main components
- Eggs. You need hard boiled eggs to make egg salad. They are easy, especially with me Hard boiled egg recipeI add them into a boil in cold water in a pot, boil water, turn off the heat and cover for 12 minutes (for large eggs). Then, after 12 minutes, I move them to a cold water bath, stopping them anymore to make them. If you have a pressure boiler, here is my recipe Hard boiled eggs in instant basketA number
- Mayonnaise. I love egg salad made with mayonnaise. You can replace Major with a few or all, with plain yogurt or mashed (as I do in me) Avocado egg salad recipe) for a lighter version. If I have it in the fridge I love to use Homemade mayonnaiseAuthority
- Celery. I like a little crunch, so always add a little finely chopped celery. You can experiment with minced onions, dill acid or even apples (what may seem strange but really good).
- Fresh herbs. Chives is my going, but parsley or dill work well too. I love chives and eggs and also add them to my grate eggsA number
- Fresh lemon juice. I love a little lemon juice to cut a rich mayon.
Paths to serve homemade egg salad
My favorite way to enjoy egg salad is to make egg salad sandwiches. I bake a few breads lightly, then I spread the bountain of my egg salad (sometimes I also add a little butter to the bread). I usually enjoy my sandwiches open and clearly without additives, but you can always add fragile carrots, sliced tomatoes or avocado-like tops.

This is my favorite way to make egg salad. I really find it clearly about Mayo, herbs, a small crunch and some lemon juice. I don’t add mustard, but if you love it, add 1/2 to 1 teaspoon.
Makes 2 maintenance
You will need
4 large eggs
2 tablespoons mayonnaise or replace simple or Greek yogurt, try Homemade mayo
1 medium length celery stem, finely chopped
1 tablespoon small chopped dogs, parsley or dill
1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Directions:
1Put eggs in a single layer and cover with cold water 1 to 2 inches. Heat heat on high heat until water reaches the roll.
2Cover the boiler with a lid, cook for 30 seconds, then remove from heat and leave for 12 minutes.
BookletFor a minute or so long ago, the eggs will finish, make a glass of ice water.
ThreeMove cooked eggs in ice water using a piece of spoon and leave 5 minutes (or longer).
5Crack the egg shells and carefully peel them. If the shells are not easily covered with eggs, place them in ice water and try again in 5 minutes.
6 years oldDevelop a hard-boiled eggs and add them into a bowl. Mix in mayonnaise, celery, herbaceous, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Taste and adjust with a more salt or pepper.

- Storage: Homemade egg salad can be stored in a fridge sealant container for up to 4 days. We do not recommend freezing it.
