I made this amazing FOCACCIA recipe so many times. Our easy homemade Fokaccia bread is absolutely perfect for beginners. We make dough with homemade garlic with rosemary oil, which makes bread incredible.

Fokaccia was one of the first bread recipes I learned, and even though I was years ago, I still return to it. Focaccia bread is easy (I promise).
With our Focaccia recipe you make homemade focus that Soft, chewing inside, beautiful golden brown and brittle edgesA number is also amazing thanks to our easy garlic and herb imported oil, which was used to make dough and baking bread.
The main components
- Olive oil. Focaccia tastes delicious, adding its tissue and taste. The best Focaccia bread secret uses a great olive oil. It is not necessary to spend a lot of money (use the olive oil you enjoy).
- Garlic, thyme and rosemary. For more taste, I’m injected olive oil for this focus recipe with garlic and herbs. I love the rosemary focus, so I use fresh rosemary, but you can try another mixture if you want (or leave them out and just make garlic and just make garlic).
- Flour. All targeted flour or bread flour is perfect for making Focaccia bread. I use the most aim of the most target because it’s what I hold in my kitchen.
- Instant yeast. The method below the focus is valid with active dry or instant yeast, but I find the instant yeast has a little more patch, so I keep in my kitchen.
- Sugar. A little sugar (1/4 teaspoon) helps awaken our yeast. Use sugar, honey or maple syrup.
How to make focus bread
In order to make homemade focus, we will first make our garlic and grassy olive oil. It’s so easy and makes bread incredibly delicious. I combine olive oil with minced garlic, thyme, rosemary and black pepper on low heat. I’m not trying to brown the garlic and herbs, only they heat the odor and oils to free the oil.

While oil cools, start your dough. Exactly Making pizza doughThe first step for the focus is to wake up your yeast. So add it to a bowl with warm water and a small amount of sugar. Stir several times, and then let the bubble start. If you don’t see any balloon after 5 minutes, you probably have a dead yeast, so you need more yeast and try again. In the next photo you can see the bubbles on the edge of the bowl (they look small and foam).

Now mix some flour and the intricate olive oil, then let the wet dough sitting away the remaining flour and the salt (salt can interfere).
At this point, the focal dough is shocked and can be sticky. I gently knead it 5-10 times to bring it together, then allow it to go up in a hot (ish) area until it doubles size. If your furnace has evidence, use it. It proves about 1 hour. (For my advice to fix the focus dough at a night boarding school, see the tips of our recipes.)

Now it’s time to bake your focus so the dough empty the oiled 9 × 13 inch clump or pan. Add lots of darkles with your fingers and then pour your input olive oil.

You will allow the dough to rise again, but this time 20 minutesAnd then bake in a hot oven until golden brown (about 20 minutes). It’s so delicious.

This is my experienced and true, easy Focacia’s bread recipe. You don’t need special equipment, and it is mainly in the start. The secret of the best Focaccia uses a great olive oil. With this recipe we use 1/2 cup of olive oil, so use olive oil you love. I often use the “participant” olive oil, as it is expensive for wine and tastes perfectly with this bread recipe.
Proof and bake on the same day, with our easy recipe or follow our advice to correct the dough during the night.

You will need
1/2 cup (120 ml) Arta-virgin olive oil
2 garlic cloves, delicate minced
1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary or 1 teaspoon dried
1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme or 1 teaspoon dried
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 cup (235 ml) Lukewarm water (115 ° F)
2 ¼ Tea spoons instant yeast, One 1/4 ounce package
1/4 teaspoon of sugar, honey or maple syrup
2 ½ Cups (325 g) All targeted flour
1 teaspoon fine sea salt
Directions:
- Make a focus dough
1Combine olive oil, minced garlic, thyme, rosemary and black pepper with cold average curtain. Place the pan on low heat and cook, sometimes stirring 5 to 10 minutes or until fragrant. You don’t want to add the color to the garlic. Keep temperature low and remove from heat to the shade to garlic brown. Put aside and allow to cool.
2Connect hot water, yeast and sugar in a large bowl. Stir several times, then leave it for 5 minutes.
BookletAdd 1 cup of flour and 1/4 cups soaked garlic-olive oil mixture with yeast. Stir 3 to 4 times until the flour is moistened. Let us sit for another 5 minutes.
ThreeStir in remaining 1 ½ cup flour and salt. When the dough is collected, move it to a fragile plank and be dropped from 10 to 15 times until smooth (see video for reference).
5Move the dough into a large grease bowl, cover with a hot, humid towel and let it go to room temperature until it doubles size, 1 to 2 hours. (See advice below if you prefer to prove dough in the fridge.)
- Bake Focus
1When the dough has doubled in size, heat the oven in advance 450 ° F (232 ° C).
2Use two tablet-olive oil mixture for two tablespoons of 9 x 13 inch for clamp oil. See the tips below for the size of a different frying pan.
BookletTransfer dough to a baking sheet, then gently press it into a pan. Use your fingers to mitigate the dough, then scatter the remaining garlic olive mixture. Let the dough rise than 20 to 30 minutes until it breaks away.
ThreeBake until golden brown, 15 to 20 minutes, then let the baked focus bread completely cool with the wire.
Adam and Junny tips
- Storage of Focaccia. Baked focus takes 2 days at room temperature. Keep it in a sealant container to dry. For long-term storage (longer than 2 days), freeze your bread. Freeze your baked and frozen focus bread in an airtight bag or container up to 1 month.
- Overnight focus. For the first ascent, prove the dough in the refrigerator at room temperature. Oil dough, place it in a bowl, cover it with plastic wrap or sealed lid and leave it for at least 12 hours and up to 3 days. When ready to bake, leave the counter for 2 hours to warm up. Then pour the dough on your greased baking and follow the 2nd evidence of the recipe above and bake.
- Fry sizes. We call 9 x 13-inch rimmed baked sheet. If you don’t have it, use a 9 x 13 inch clutch dish with higher sides. For more dense foci, use a 9-inch round pie dish / cake frying pan or 9-inch square baking (baking time will be a few minutes longer).
- Yeast. Use an instant yeast or active dry yeast in this recipe. Directions are the same for both. I prefer an instant yeast when I make bread because it is usually more active and fragile.
