I recently served this mayo-free vinegar just about everythingAnd and I can’t wait to try that. It is a perfect side for barbecue, summer collectors, richer dishes and more.

If you followed us for a while, you know that we love our collaves. We have had our Favorite creamy collesh For a long time inspired by the taste, and it has risen from one of our most popular recipes. For years you have asked us to add a vinegar-based colloques blog, and now I can finally say it’s here.

The main components

  • Cabbage. I like to use red and green cabbage (it looks so beautiful), but you can use only one variety. Green, red, savoy or napa cabbage everyone works great. If you are on time, try to use a bag of pre-fried cabbage or colessley mixture. If you have left cabbage, here is our all Easy cabbage recipesAuthority
  • Carrots. Adds color, a little sweetness and taste. I use a box of grater to crush my carrots, but you can also buy them in advance, if it’s easier.
  • Caraway seeds (or celery seeds). For the traditional Coleslaw taste, use celery seeds, but slightly other, but deliciously rotated, reach the escape seeds.   • Homemade vinegar to dress. I love the combination of red wine vinegar and olive oil on Deli Sub so we used here. Red wine vinegar tastes slightly light and little acid than other vinegar working well with colleshlav. To balance the clothes, we also mix in a small mustard powder, sugar (just a little) and salt. If you don’t have mustard powder, you can replace Digon mustard. If you want more citrus sauce, try our Cilantro lime faultwhich is also Mayo-free.

Add two thirds to dress up on this vinegar-based Coleslawthen add more if necessary. That way, you guarantee that you have received the right dressing, slave ratio.

Easy vinegar rinse

Deli Counter Subs and our obsession sauerkraut inspired this vinegar. I love red wine vinegar, olive oil and fishing seeds remind me of a rye or pokernik bread (use celery seeds). It’s light on the feet, it’s easy to cook and takes a few days in the fridge. I love it.

Makes 8 cups

You will need

1 median cabbage, about 2 pounds, external leaves have been removed

3 medium carrots, peeled and finely sliced

1/3 cup (80 ml) red wine vinegar

3 tablespoons (45 ml) Additional virgin olive oil

2: Teaspoak Sugar

1 ¼ teaspoon mustard powder, like a coleman, or replace 2 to 3 teaspoons Dijon mustard

1/2 teaspoon fine salt

1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1 teaspoon Caraway seeds or celery seeds

Directions:

    1Prepare the cabbage. Wind cabbage through the kernel, then cut the kernel. Each quartet pieces into pieces of pieces. Place fried cabbage in a beautiful large bowl (you will have 6 to 8 cups).

    2Combine vegetables. Add fried carrots with coated and throw the mixture.

    BookletMake dressing. Pour the vinegar, olive oil, sugar, mustard seeds (or celery seeds), salt and pepper together in a separate bowl. Taste of acidity and spices, then adjust if desired. Add a little more sugar if clothes taste too tart and prefer sweet column.

    ThreeDo the collse. Pour into dressing two-thirds with cabbage and carrots, then mix well. (Clean hands are the fastest tool). If Coleslaw seems to be dry, add a little more to dress. Immediately eat or let it sit in the fridge for about an hour, allowing the spices to be mixed and the cabbage is softened.

    5Storage: This vinegar COLESLAW keeps up to 2 days in the refrigerator. The past, cabbage becomes floppy and more fragile.

Adam and Junny tips

  • Do Daily or two-to-one vegetables poured in advance and keep them in the yard sack. Make clothes up to 2 weeks. Combine cabbage, carrots and dress at night or day.
  • Stored Bagled Coleslaw Mix: Can you buy a pre-fried cabbage or coleslav mixture? One large (16 ounces) bag should do the trick.
