The main components
- Oats I like an outdated rolled oat for this granball. Instant or fast-making oats will not have the same tissue.
- Almonds. The sliced almond is beautiful, but you can absolutely replace your favorite nuts or seeds.
- Olive oil or butter. You can use or (coconut oil work).
- Honey. I love the floral sweetness of honey, but you can replace a maple syrup or sugar (my favorite coconut sugar).
- Vanilla, cinnamon and salt. These make our Granola incredible. I advise them. Feel free to add more spice through warm dough, such as pumpkin spice or apple pie spices.
Homemade granola makes it easier than you think. Just mix all your ingredients together, spread them on a baking sheet, then bake until lightly golden brown.
