My family loves this fragile baku tofu recipe. It can be my favorite way to make tofu. Add it to your preferred mix-fry, rice bowls or curries. Easy and delicious.

Baked Tofu used to play a game in our home, my family or doesn’t like the tissue or find the bead. But this recipe was a common game-changer, winning the whole family.
The secret lies in a fast marinade, which the troubles invades incredible taste. Then it is thrown in Cornstarch for the perfect fragile outer part. Trust me, this fragile baked tofu recipe will turn anyone into Toffu lovers.
The main components
- Tofu: I recommend additional solid tofu (solid works). Press it before marinating to remove excess moisture for maximum moisture. You can use the tofu press or track the recipe to my instructions.
- Tofu marinade: This simple marinade pears with fragrant punch soy sauce (or tamari), maple syrup and oil touch. It’s a game-exchange for tofu.
- Cornstarch. This is my secret ingredient for a crispy baked tofu. Arrowroot works as a substitute, but the corn is holding better over time.
How to make crispy baked tofu
When I baked a tuff, I start extra firm or tight tofu and click it to remove excess moisture. You can use the tofu press or without a quick method of special equipment, see the recipe below. I cut Toffun into thick slabs and put them on clean dishes. After covering with another piece, I place something (cutting off a baking sheet) on top of Tofu. Then weigh a jar or curtain. After 15 minutes, you should be good.
Next, use my easy tofu marinade to add Tofu’s flavor. It’s soy sauce, maple syrup and oil. You only need a few minutes.

Finally, scatter on a corn, which adds a beautiful fragile exterior in Tofu before baking until golden brown and fragile. Easy.

I love this easy baked tofu recipe. We use a simple tofu marinade that takes tuff from boring to delicious. Add it to your favorite mix-fry, rice bowls and curries or enjoy it alone. Corn is optional, but it will make the outside of Tofu cube very crispy. You can replace the arrow, but it does not keep both on time, or when the currings and soups are added. I prefer corn for this recipe.
Makes 4 maintenance
You will need
1 (14oz) to block extra tight tofu, sliced length 1 inch thick
1 tablespoon of low sodium soy sauce or Tamar
1 tablespoon Maple syrup
1 tablespoon of avocado oil or vegetable oil
1 tablespoon of corn, optional fragile tofu
Directions:
1Place tofu pieces with one layer of clean dish towels or several paper towels. Cover with another dish towel (or paper towels). Place excess moisture on top of towels, place a flat cutting board or baking sheet. Then add the weight to a few jars or put a heavy drive on the board. Let Tofu dry for at least 15 minutes.
2Pre Boil the oven 425 ° F (218 ° C). Baking sheet line with parchment paper or use silicone baking.

ThreeAdd soy sauce (or Tamari) and Maple syrup. Throw well, then leave aside for 5 minutes to fill Toffu to the Marinade.
5Add oil and throw well. Freeze one tablespoon of corn corn on the corner of Tofu (this helps Tofu become brittle).

HaBake for 10 minutes, mix, and then bake until golden brown and fragile, 10 to 15 minutes.

- By clicking Toffu. By clicking the pieces of Tofu, it is the fastest way to remove additional moisture from your tofu (especially if you don’t have Tofu Press). Think that buying the tofu press if you make a lot of tofu. It works miracles to remove water in Tofu’s blocks. Check for highly appreciated Tofu Presss (we bought ours from Amazon). It is a tofuture brand, but there are many options. If you have a press, skip the first step of the recipe at the top.
